Insta Friday- January 4-10

Our week in pictures... Wasn't too eventful because we have some mean respiratory stuff going on.

Dr Heidi examining our doggie doo game dog to see if he's constipated... She didn't charge a house call fee

Sled riding

Is it ever worth all the bundling? Mine stay out or such a short time!!!

Making thank you mugs . Not sure if they'll be washable - Pinterest project.

I made a pottery Barn anywhere chair type chair for American Girl Dolls this week. Tutorial http://nothingcanseperate.blogspot.com/2013/01/make-something-monday-american-girl.html?m=1

  1. Bundling the kids is never worth the time we spend on it, but I think for them it is!

  2. I hate all the bundling! I get hot and cranky and sometimes stand on the porch without all the layers on so I can cool off for a minute! Visiting from Life Rearranged.

  3. Ok so it's not just me! Good!

I was in such a bad mood after dressing them- probably because my husband was chilling on the couch while I gather bits and pieces of snow gear around the house that I had all together when I got winter clothes out but the kids redistributed them! I know the gathering / dressing of kids was longer than the sledding. But they had some fun and I won't feel guilty when the snow melts.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Also visiting from InstaFriday. :) My boys keep asking for the doggie doo game, but I can't bring myself to get it. Ha! It snows so infrequently where we live that I feel like we have to bundle up and go out in it. Of course, it's usually only two or three days a year they get to do it, so it's not like an every day thing. That would drive me crazy! :)

    1. Well, she had asked consistently for the game for two years so I broke when she moved it to the top of every Santa list.

We had to exchange the first one because it stopped making "sounds" the first time they played and I'm not sure the replacement works well either. I did read to wet the dogs insides sometimes helps so we will see.

I'm going to do a Christmas gift follow up soon as far as what is junk, what got played with twice and what has staying power. So ill have to play it a few times before I post.

    1. We've had a ton so far! We got two feet from the frankenstorm/hurricane sandy and then it was warm until December 23 and we got a storm and it just continued for days- which was awesome because i only like snow November through December for the Christmas season :) we live on a farm and all the snow blows from the fields right into our driveway and after being closed in for so long I'm ready for spring!
